I chose RR Stables as the best equine home for my horse and my daughter’s horse until I could build my own barn, create my own pastures, and care for my horses myself. I am not sure what better testimonial that I can share, except to say — if it isn’t me. . .I would want Beth to care for my equine family. Having been a horse-enthusiast since I was 8 years old (55+ years ago), my love for horses centered on their care more than the riding part. I came to RR Stables with my daughter. She had embraced my love for horses and the independence and challenges they offered.

RR Stables is a safe haven for when you can be there — all is comfortable, well managed and health focused.  When you cannot be there, the same holds true. Beth steps in to watch, care for and monitor every horse, every day, every way.

We boarded our 16.3hand, 7-year old, Oldenburg gelding at Rocky Run Stables when my daughter was beginning high school and was riding 1st level dressage. What a blessing to be in such a wonderful environment where she was guided by Elizabeth Wilson to the highest standards of horse care, dressage, and ethics of horsemanship. There were no issues, “personalities”, or competitive aspects in this barn, unlike our previous experiences. What was best for the horse and the young rider were the top considerations. The quality of feed, turnout, veterinary support and riding environment were always excellent. My daughter learned the highest level of appreciation for the art of horsemanship and horse ownership. The setting was beautiful and quiet. There were trails to ride and no busy roads nearby.

Elizabeth Wilson was also available for special sessions of horse massage, tapping, and other alternative modalities of care that made the experience so peaceful, kind, and communicative between horse and rider. I cannot say enough positive words to describe the excellent experience we had at this facility with Elizabeth Wilson. She is an excellent role model for young girls and the other boarders were so fun to be around. As a parent I am so appreciative of this outstanding experience. Thank you so much Rocky Run!
